ABOUT INNER DANCE

WHAT IS INNER DANCE?

 

Inner Dance is not ‘’dance’’ as we typically know it. It is a sound and sensory healing journey that can assist you to shift into heightened perceptions, and deeper states of awareness, awakening the innate power to heal from within. Inner Dance induces a ‘dreaming awake’ state.

In a safe and sacred space, using music (corresponding to specific brainwaves), and other sensory experiences including intuitive touch, sound and smell, we are assisted to drop into a deep space of trust and allowing.

The Inner Dance process helps us peel away the layers of our conditioned mental limitations. It can slowly reveal our deeper core principles and our primary reason for existing on the planet. It is this remembrance that ultimately leads us to evolve and embrace a more harmonious way of existing.

Come with an open heart and journey into the remembrance of your true self through a heightened inner awareness of body, mind and emotion.

Be a witness to the stories, old patterns, misguided beliefs and stuck emotions you hold within your body or just simply allow whatever release wants to happen. Everyone's experience is different and it could be visual, physical, energetic, downloads of messages, clarity, release, cathartic or blissful. It begins with lying down on the mat.

The body might remain still the entire process or move and surrender with the energy.

WHERE ARE THE ROOTS OF INNER DANCE BASED?

Inner Dance was developed by Pi Villaraza from The Philippines and he drew on the scientific understanding of neurological structures, processes and the nature of consciousness. However, there are still many unknowns and mysteries that surround Inner Dance.

WHAT MIGHT YOU EXPERIENCE?

In any session, the individual’s experience of body awakening and ‘dreaming awake’ can vary significantly according to your personal history, previous inner work, emotional state, beliefs and what is current for you in your life.

During a session, you may undergo emotional or stress release, have sensory experiences or vocalise, have spontaneous movement, experience spiritual insight or find a deep inner stillness.

The belief is that whatever you experience in that session is exactly right for you at that moment. Kundalini awakening processes can occur too.

IS THE ACTIVATION A 'ONE-OFF' OR DOES IT NEED TO BE REPEATED?

The initial ‘activations’ or ‘body awakenings’ create sensitivity and awareness of your potential to experience resonance between the energy that surrounds you and the energy that is within you.

You can choose to cultivate this awareness or not. The facilitated session can create an ‘energy-rich’ environment in which it may be easier for you to sense the energy moving through or resonating within you and to transition to the ‘dreaming awake' state.

This energy-rich environment may also enhance or intensify your experience. However, as you become more aware of and open to this universal energy source and attuned to the experience, you may develop the ability to allow and surrender yourself to this activated/awakened state by setting the right mental and physical conditions for yourself. In this way, it can also become private practice, if that is what you are also seeking.

During this session, you will find there is nothing to do, just allow yourself to be.
