Our Story
What ignited my passion for ID?
I truly feel the power of Inner Dance and all that it delivers. My story started when I moved to Kuala Lumpur back in 2010. Through a mutual acquaintance, I became friendly with a beautiful half-American Indian woman. This lady, my friend, had recently been learning about Inner Dance from Pi Villaraza, the founder of Inner Dance (ID). She asked if I would like to come along to the very first ID session that she was holding. I agreed and I had no idea what to expect. In fact, I got dressed up in the gym gear thinking I was about to do some kind of aerobics–how wrong was I?

I lay down on the mat and closed my eyes. I thought all of this was very strange. Then the music began. The soundscape was divine but was I meant to be performing movement? I wasn’t sure. My friend who was facilitating advised the group to just let go and surrender, so I did and in that instant, the magic took over. That was the very moment I commenced my spiritual journey and the beginning of my love, passion, complete belief in and respect for ID. A few years later I moved to The Sunshine Coast in Queensland and although Inner Dance was growing, I struggled to find any facilitators within the local area.
How I became a Facilitator?
When COVID and lockdowns became a thing, my friend, who was successfully facilitating on the island of Koh Phangan made the choise to hold online classes. Initially, she was concerned that ID would not activate the energies if delivered via the Internet, however, she put her trust into delivering the experience and ID’s energy surpassed time and space - which was evident from the feedback she received.

The energy was so strong that my friend made a decision to deliver ID facilitation virtually too. I was so grateful for her decision, I had been longing to become a facilitator myself.

In the third quarter of 2021, I graduated as a facilitator and since then I have been successfully delivering ID journeys both individually and in group settings, in person and online.
